SENIOR MOBILE ENGINEER

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• B.S. in Computer Science with 3+ years of software development experience.
• Deep experience building products and services using one or more of these mobile technologies: J2ME, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Blackberry, Series 40/60, BREW and Mobile Linux.
• Passionate mobile phone user and familiar with most current mobile data services, technologies, limitations and challenges
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
• Good working knowledge of Web standards including XHTML, Javascript, CSS, SVG.
• Working knowledge of server-side technologies including any of Apache, MySQL, Java, Python, Perl, J2EE, Ruby, PHP.

Web Developer (Back-End)

We are seeking a back-end expert who is passionate about creating scalable server software used by thousands of concurrent users. We are looking for an experienced developer who will be responsible for major portions of the Plusmo server side technology and implementation. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• BS/MS in CS or related disciplines
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Excellent Python programming skills with a specific focus on web application development.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of open source server-side technologies including Linux, databases (MySQL, Berkeley DB), Apache, template frameworks
• A strong Linux background with knowledge of techniques for load balancing, performance tuning, and fault tolerance is desired
• Solid CS background with a desire to pick up new skills
• Experience with Web Services and XML including REST, XML-RPC, SOAP, XSLT
