Plusmo at ITW 2026: Strategic Connections in A2P Messaging and RCS

During the week of May 18–21, Carlos Zipilivan, founder and president of Plusmo, attended International Telecoms Week (ITW) 2026, one of the most important events for the telecommunications industry in the United States and the Americas. Held in Washington with more than 500 participating companies, ITW brings together each year the key players across the sector: network infrastructure and data centers, voice and A2P messaging services, and new data monetization solutions for mobile operators.

For Plusmo, attending ITW had a clear focus: tracking developments in A2P messaging, CPaaS, and the APIs that mobile network operators (MNOs) are building to enhance security and streamline enterprise and OTT communications. Among the central themes at ITW 2026, Open Gateway development took a prominent place. For Plusmo, this represents direct validation of its strategic direction. Beyond the conference program, Carlos held productive meetings with global industry leaders, including Google, Telefónica Global Solutions, IDT, Infobip, Sinch, Spark Telecomm, Entel Peru, Entel Chile, iBasis, HandShake, Apelby, Syniverse, C3ntro, ArpuPlus, Shush, Movitext, and Concepto Móvil. Discussions covered the A2P messaging wholesale business, emerging authentication technologies such as Number Verify, and the growing momentum behind RCS-enriched messaging.
